The aims of the module are three-fold:
- Interesting lessons from his life.
- His nationalist ideas based on his works and writings, its limitations and uses.
- How he wanted to strengthen that idea of nation based on studying history.
EVERYONE READ THIS FIRST:
Group 1: Ikehata Setsuho – Rizal and the Making of National Consciousness (Only introduction, part 1 and 2, pp. 176-185, but you should read the whole thing to understand your points. Reporters must identify each Rizal works and the message pointing out to being a nation based on the essay.)
